Passionist Family Pilgrimage 2005

Pathways of St Paul of Tarsus (Turkey & Greece) &
Pathways of St Paul of the Cross (Italy)

Following the success of the Passionist Family Pilgrimages in 2001 & 2003, we have finalised arrangements for the 2005 Pilgrimage, three weeks tracing some of the Pathways of St Paul the Apostle and St Paul of the Cross, preachers of the Message of the Cross.

Pilgrims will unearth the rich origins of the early Christian Communities through Turkey and Greece and capture the spirit of Church’s greatest evangelist. An extra highlight will be a visit to ANZAC Cove, Gallipolli.

After flying from Athens to Milan, our pilgrimage follows the pathway of St Paul of the Cross from his birthplace in Ovada, to the place he wrote his first rule in Castellazzo, to his first Retreat on Monte Argentario, to his final resting place in Rome, at Ss John & Paul’s. Also, we will visit the resting place of the Lay Passionist, St Gemma Galgani in Lucca, and the Shrine to the young Passionist St Gabriel Possenti in Isola Del Gran Sasso.
