Dear Passionist Family Group Member or Supporter

2011 marks the 23rd year of the Passionist Family Group Movement in Aotearoa.  During this time we have had PFGs from as far north as Whangarei to as far south as Invercargill.

Whether you are new to PFGM or an ‘oldie’ we hope you have experienced the  ‘family’ and ‘community’ of belonging to your group.

With any Movement such as ours there needs to be financial backing to allow us to provide ongoing support and formation and to administer the PFGM, which is a registered Charitable Trust. We also endeavor to pay a stipend to the Passionists, for whom there is no other income in NZ other than what we can give them.

The past five years have brought a downturn in our income. This is mainly due to the Global financial situation, which has meant a number of our parishes have been unable to pay their normal stipend, and our income from grants has been reduced. Some parishes have moved away from ‘formal’ belonging to the PFGM, though groups still meet and we still support them.

We would like to invite members to become  regular contributors to the PFGM, and wish to acknowledge and thank those who already do so.  We are a Registered Charitable Trust and supply receipts for all donations, which can be claimed back through IRD for a 33% refund.

If you are   in a position to help us we would be very grateful. It is our intention to continue to ‘grow’ and promote PFGM in New Zealand, and we  want to be able to support the next generation to experience what we have.

There are Automatic Payment forms available, or if you wish to make a one off donation please  send to:
